  1. This software is distributed under the SHAREWARE concept.  This concept 
  2. gives you the chance to "try before you buy", and see if it meets your 
  3. needs.  It DOES NOT mean that the software is free.  If you like it, and 
  4. use it, you must pay for it.

  6. I've decided to break away from the standard "30 day trial period" that 
  7. many software authors are using and instead go to a much simpler and more 
  8. realistic policy. This is simply; Try it on your system.  If you like it 
  9. and your users like it, then register it.  If it's not good enough to 
  10. register, then delete it.

  12. While I'd like you to register my software as soon as possible, I'm also 
  13. realistic enough to know that different systems have different requirements 
  14. and interests, and sometimes it takes longer before a game catches on, or 
  15. a sysop can get to the software on his list to register.  And frankly, I'd 
  16. rather you ran it for awhile and register, than try it for a short period 
  17. of time and delete it.  Nobody wins that way...I lose out on a registration 
  18. and your users lose out on the chance of having the registered software 
  19. to play.

  24. As a shareware  program, WCS Trivia may be freely distributed.  Shareware 
  25. distributors may distribute copies of WCS Trivia on disk for a modest disk 
  26. duplication charge not to exceed $4 per disk.  Permission must be obtained 
  27. in writing from the author before including this software on any CDRom 
  28. or shareware disk or collection.
